UNICORN HORNS
The hardest part about making these tasty (and fun) treats is melting the chocolate. First, you need to set up a double boiler on your stove top. Put 1 lb. of your favorite melting chocolate in a bowl and set in the outer pan that has the water in it. Heat on the LOW position (do not bring water to a boil), and stir as it starts to melt. This may take around 15 minutes or so. When the chocolate has melted dip the pretzel rods into the chocolate in a spinning motion to cover all of the surfaces. Then, before the chocolate has melted, sprinkle colored sprinkles on them and cover with any other confectionery candy.
Unicorn Tails & Unicorn Poop
Ewww. Grosssss. That's what people may say, but it won't stop them from eating the tasty treats to which the signs are pointing. The digital files for these signs can be purchased on Etsy. We used a printer and Cricut machine to print and cut these signs on card stock, but it's possible to cut these manually. We then attached them to stick with tacky glue and placed in bowls. The Unicorn Tail sign referenced Rainbow Twizzlers and the Unicorn Poop was simply Skittles. Taste the magical rainbows.
Unicorn Gift Bags
These imaginative bags served as the party favor holders for our party-goer friends and family. The eyes were drawn on using permanent markers. The horns and ears were cut out of decorative card stock. For this instance, digital patterns were downloaded and utilized to cut on the card stock on a Cricut machine. These elements, along with faux flowers from our favorite craft stores, were (tacky) glued to the bags. Fill the bags with goodies that your guests will simply adore.
Unicorn Head Banner
Nothing better declares a celebration than a banner. This whimsical unicorn banner is easy to make. You could cut out the various elements yourself with scissors. If you have a cutting machine, such as Silhouette or Cricut, you can use that as well. The file containing all of these elements is listed on Etsy.
The white card stock was used for the face, the purple eyes, glitter for the horns, and pink (polka dot) for the ears. However, choose any color variations that best suit your party. All of these elements were glued to the banner using a glue stick. A hole punch created the holes below the ears, through which the ribbon was strung to tie the assembly together. We hope that the weather is perfect for you the day of the party and enjoy! You wanna craft? We wanna help. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at: help@wannacraft.com |
